Bee Friendly PA is a new initiative from the Pennsylvania State Beekeeping Association (PSBA) that recognizes bee-friendly communities across the state: those that encourage beekeeping as well provide hospitable habitats and pollinator-friendly pest management practices. Learn more about the program here.
PSBA will consider applications as they are submitted and recognize municipalities for their efforts in promoting bee health and beekeeping in their communities. Download an application here (PDF).
Our Mission: To recognize communities throughout the Commonwealth for their efforts to support honeybee health through legislation, education, pest management, green space and community support.
Meet Us In Person at PA Ag Progress Days, August 15-17, 2017 at Penn State’s Research Farms (near State College).
